To provide assistance in our dining service with our wide variety of restaurant options: Setting up dining rooms, serving meals, cleaning tables, preparing condiments, deserts, garnishes, salads and beverages for meal service.
Arrange the dining room to accommodate resident meals.
Serve residents' meals in dining rooms.
Prepare condiments, desserts, garnishes, salads and/or salad bar, beverages, breakfast, noon and evening meals.
Wash and sanitize dining room tables and work stations.
Restock dining rooms and work stations.
Assist with dishwashing and pots and pans; on occasion.
Assume responsibility for meeting meal schedules.
Work cooperatively with food service staff and other departments.
Attend in-service training programs for food service employees.
Check weekly and monthly cleaning charts and complete as time permits.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state and local regulations governing handling and storage of food, food supplies, equipment and work environment.
Comply with established dietary standards with infection control, sanitation and safety regulations.
Capable of serving our residents in a timely manner.
Accurately assisting the resident’s, to the best of your ability, with any request you are presented with.
Must treat residents with kindness, cheerfulness and respect.
Must be willing to train and participate in ongoing staff development programs.
Must be able to read menus and understand measurements and categories of food for special diets.
